Notice of People’s Assembly of Sarasota County

Post by Rodger Dowdell » Thu Mar 14, 2019 8:46 pm

SARASOTA ASSEMBLY OF THE PEOPLE
We the People for the first Amendment

WHY ARE WE IGNORING THE CONSTITUTION?

Do you want to know what really Makes America Great? We are the only nation inherently free to self-govern.

Self-govern? What does that mean you may ask?

The founders laid out the system of how this works in a document called the constitution. As a result of not understanding self-governance, a vacuum has been created where special interest and professional politicians, have stepped in and forced us into a corrupt corpocracy. We the People abdicated our responsibility through our ignorance of our right to self-governance and only We the People can take it back.

The first Amendment states:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people to peaceably to assemble and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.

We have forgotten how to Assemble! Self-governance requires that We the People do the work necessary to create the explicit voice of the people in the form of resolutions passed by our assemblies.

Join us to learn about the constitution and how to operate a government ‘of, for and by the People’ *Abraham Lincoln right here in Sarasota County.

Bring your Grievances!

When a long train of abuses….to reduce them under absolute despotism … It is their Right, it is their Duty, to throw off such governments, and to provide new guards for their future security.
