Added link from Elizabeth in Montana. Notice Maryland had an esquire involved during their passing of the 13th? Could this be the root of the BAR trying to remove what was highly popular legislation?

Imo. Obvious title of nobility. Maybe more to 1812 than just the B.A.R. So our 13th amendment would nullify agents acting to carry out the Treaty of Paris per the aegis of the "prince elector", atop of the press gang, shan hai'ing of sailors,provocations of tribes vs.the colonists in Georgia(see Andrew Jackson hanging Brit.spies for that),etc. The more you know
