It appears that the two companies are working together to bring RuneLite HD available free to players of all ages until Jagex makes its own version RuneScape HD. 117 has stated in their Twitter feed that the collaboration isn't a compromise, but rather it's something they thought of when they were making this effort. Despite its age, the game remains extremely popular, and its new graphics will draw more interest for the video game.

According to the report the 177 RuneLite HD version is ready to be made available on the 13th of September. The reason for the delay is that Jagex can include more features and RuneScape fans' favorite attributes to the mod with more information as well as expectations of specs and compatibility.
